Half to the work of God in the US, and half to overseas missions.     Was it worth it to give it all away?  </p>



<p>It was asked of Job&#8217;s motivation; did He serve God because of what he got out of out for himself?   </p>



<p>Most people see wealth as a sign of blessing, but Christ saw things very differently.. </p>



<p>The rich young ruler went away sorrowful after his conversation with Jesus because he was owned by his riches.  After this, Peter said he has<br>
given all away to follow Christ, and he wanted to know what was in it for him.   </p>



<p>Christ did not rebuke Peter for asking but said in vs 30 whoever has forsaken things or people for Him would receive a hundredfold and eternal life. <br>
Everything we give up for God will be blessed out of proportion.</p>

<p>Some people think we are called to a blind faith in Christ; but we are called to &#8216;come and reason with me&#8217;; Mary responds thoughtfully when the angel speaks;  she is not naive to what is happening.  </p>

David was desparing that one day Saul would catch up with him and kill him.   



We need to slow down and not make decisions in anger.  Force yourself into the precense
of God when you are angry; and slow down and wait for God to work.  You might not
want to talk to God at that time.  



If we trust in God, we will never be desolate for trusting in Him.
